Central Industrial Security Force Assistant Commandant Executive Limited Departmental Competitive Exam or LDCE- CISF AC (EXE) is one of the most competitive exams held in India. The exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission or UPSC to find the suitable candidates for filling the post of Assistant Commandant Executives in CISF.

The exam is conducted by UPSC annually after issuing an official notification regarding the number of vacancies to be filled. To be eligible for the exam, the candidate must complete 4 years of regular service as on 1st January 2020 in the rand of Sub Inspector or Inspector (GD), which includes the period of training as well. The candidate must have a clean record of service till the appointment offer is issued to him or her.

UPSC LDCE- CISF AC (EXE) Eligibity Criteria 2021

  1. Nationality
  2. Candidates appearing for the examination must be a citizen of India.

  3. Educational Qualification
  4. 1) The candidate appearing for the exam should be a graduate from a recognized University
    2) He should have completed four years of regular service in the rank of Sub Inspector or Inspector (GD) including the period of basic training.
    3) There should be no unblemished record for four years
    4) Possession of NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificate would have an added advantage at the time of interview

  5. Age Limit
  6. The upper age limit to appear in the UPSC LDCE- CISF AC (EXE) is 35 years.
    However, there are age relaxations for candidates belonging to the reserved categories. They are given below in the table.

Pattern for Personality test/interview

Only those candidates who qualified physical and medical assessment test will be eligible to appear for personal interview/test.

The Interview/Personality Test would be conducted by a Board of competent and unbiased persons who will have before them a record of the candidates. The candidate will be asked questions both in his/her own field as well as matters of general interest to test his/her awareness and understanding. In broad terms, this will be an assessment of not only his/her mental calibre but also his/her social traits and integrity of character

1 Essays, Precise Writing, and Comprehension

    Essay component in English or Hindi, but the medium of Précis Writing and Comprehension Components will be English only

Syllabus for Personality test/interview

There is no specific syllabus for the interview. In broad terms, this is really an assessment of not only a candidate’s intellectual qualities but also social traits and interest in current affairs. Some of the qualities to be judged are mental alertness, critical powers of assimilation, clear and logical exposition, the balance of judgement, variety and depth of interest, the ability for social cohesion, LEADERSHIP, and intellectual and moral integrity.
