United India Insurance company Limited was established in 1938. United India Insurance Company was later formed by the coalition of 12 Indian Insurance Companies, 4 Cooperative Insurance Societies, and Indian operations of 5 Foreign Insurers, besides General Insurance operations of the southern region of Life Insurance Corporation of India. After the onset of commercialization, the company experienced tremendous growth in the Insurance sector of India.

It is the first-ever government-owned insurance company to reach to the rural masses. Today the UIIC family consists of more than 14000 employees spread across the country with 2279 offices. The United India insurance company offers impressive policies to the citizens, especially the rural masses.

Every year UIIC releases vacancies for various posts in their offices around the country and recruits eligible candidates. The government-owned sector tests the candidates’ IQ and EQ finely before recruiting them. All the relevant information regarding UIIC vacancies can be found on their official website.

UIIC Asst. Exam Eligibity Criteria 2021

  1. Nationality
  2. Candidates must be a citizen of India.

  3. Educational Qualification
    • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university.
    • Candidates must have knowledge of writing and speaking English and their regional language proficiently.

  4. Age Limit
  5. The age of the candidate to appear in the UIIC Asst. examination should be minimum of 18 years and maximum of 28 years.
    However, there are age relaxations for candidates belonging to the reserved categories. They are given below in the table:

  6. Restrictions on Attempts
  7. There is no such restriction on the number of attempts as long as the age criteria is being fulfilled.

UIIC Asst. Exam Pattern 2021

Important points regarding the pattern of the examination

  • The complete selection process consists of three rounds- Preliminary, Mains, and Interview.
  • The questions in objective tests, except for the test of English Language, will be made available in English and Hindi. Candidates will have to qualify in each test/subject by securing the minimum qualification marks as decided by the Company in the Main Examination.
  • Candidates qualifying in the On-line Main Examination will further qualify in the Regional Language
    Test, before final selection.
  • Valid AADHAR card (or) E-Aadhar Card should be produced during the Regional Language Test.
  • Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the On-line Main Examination subject to
    qualifying the Regional Language Test.
  • The total time for Preliminary Exam will be One Hour.
  • The total time for Main Exam will be Two Hour.

Pattern for Regional Language Test

Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the On-line Main Examination subject to qualifying the Regional Language Test. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms do not entitle a candidate to be called for On-line Examination and Regional Language Test.

Syllabus for Regional Language Test

Candidates will undergo Language Proficiency Test, where the participating organizations will verify the proficiency of candidates in the local language of the concerned state or union territory, i.e. the candidates should be able to read, write as well as speak the concerned local language.
