SBI Clerk Exam 2021

SBI Clerk Exam is conducted every year by the State Bank of India. The exam aims to hire Junior Associates for serving different types of customer interaction jobs. It is a national level exam that can be taken by all the Graduation students. The students who are in the final year of their graduation can also apply for the SBI Clerk Exam.

SBI Clerk Exam is conducted in two levels- a Preliminary Exam and a Mains Exam. The Exams are then followed by an interview round. The marks obtained at each level of the selection procedure decide whether the candidate will be selected for the job or not. It is mandatory for the candidates appearing for the exam to clear all the phases in order to secure a job and get appointment letter from the bank. The candidate selected for the clerical profile is required to handle all the cash deposits and withdrawals, which also happens to be the main job of an SBI Clerk. A clerk is the Single Window Operator in the bank and hence is responsible for a variety of tasks.

SBI Clerk Exam Eligibity Criteria 2021

  1. Nationality
  2. Only Indian Citizens.

  3. Educational Qualification
  4. Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the final year/semester of their graduation may also apply.

  5. Age Limit
  6. The age of the candidate to appear in the SBI Clerk Exam should be minimum of 20 years and maximum of 28 years.
    However, there are age relaxations for candidates belonging to the reserved categories. They are given below in the table:

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern 2021

The SBI Clerk Exam is conducted in two levels including the Preliminary Exam and the Mains Exam. The Preliminary exam is like a filter exam to select eligible candidates for the following exam. It is an online exam that comprises 100 multiple-choice questions and the Mains exam is an online exam that comprises 190 multiple-choice questions.
