Rajasthan State and Subordinate Combined Competitive Exam is conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission to recruit qualified candidates for various posts of civil services.

RPSC RAS Exam Eligibity Criteria 2021

  1. Nationality
  2. The candidate must be a citizen of India.

  3. Educational Qualification
  4. The candidate must have a Bachelor Degree from a recognised University.

  5. Age Limit
  6. The age of the candidate to appear in the RPSC RAS examination should be minimum of 21 years and maximum of 40 years.
    However, there are age relaxations for candidates belonging to the reserved categories. They are given below in the table:

  7. Restrictions on Attempts
  8. There is no attempt restriction for the candidates provided the upper age limit has not been exceeded.

RPSC RAS Exam Pattern 2021

The exam consists of three stages:
Stage I: Preliminary exam consists of one paper of objective type carrying 200 marks.
Stage II: The main exam consists of four papers of descriptive type.
Stage III: This stage consists of a personality test.

Syllabus for Personality Test

In broad terms, this is really an assessment of not only a candidate’s intellectual qualities but also social traits and interest in current affairs. Some of the qualities to be judged are mental alertness, critical powers of assimilation, clear and logical exposition, the balance of judgement, variety and depth of interest, the ability for social cohesion, LEADERSHIP, and intellectual and moral integrity.
