Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) conducts a recruitment process in order to recruit candidates for the post of Assistant Manager in various branches of the IDBI Bank all across the country. This recruitment is among one of the most sought-after recruitment in today’s time. Every year a lot of candidates apply for this recruitment in huge numbers. To confirm their selection, candidates will have to appear for an online test first and then they will have to undergo group discussion or personal interview round.

The IDBI Assistant Manager vacancy is expected to be more than 600 as looking at the trends of the previous few years. The selection process for the IDBI Assistant Manager happens in two stages. The first stage of recruitment is the online test followed by the second stage that is the personal interview.

IDBI AMGA Exam Exam Eligibity Criteria 2021

  1. Nationality
  2. Applicant must be either
    (i) a citizen of India, or
    (ii) a subject of Nepal, or
    (iii) a subject of Bhutan, or
    (iv) a Tibetan refugee (who came over to India before 1st January 1962) with the intention of permanently settling in India or
    (v) a person of Indian origin, who have migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar (formally Burma), Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malwai, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

    Provided that an applicant belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) or (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by Government of India.

  4. Graduation from a recognised university.

  5. Age Limit
  6. The age of the candidate to appear in the IDBI AMGA Exam examination should be minimum of 21 years and maximum of 28 years.
    However, there are age relaxations for candidates belonging to the reserved categories. They are given below in the table:

  7. Restrictions on Attempts
  8. There is no restriction on the number of attempts in the IDBI Executive Exam until the Candidate fulfil all the required eligibility criteria.

IDBI AMGA Exam Exam Pattern 2021

The exam pattern includes Online tests and Personal Interviews. The online test to be conducted in the first stage of the recruitment process will be divided into 4 sections. There will be a composite time of 2 hours for the Online Test. The IDBI Assistant Manager syllabus has topics from all these four sections. The candidates who have qualified in the online test will be called for a Personal Interview.

Pattern for Personal Interview

Candidates who will qualify for the online test will subsequently be called for an interview. Candidates will get the choice of answering the questions in the interview in either Hindi or English. Those who qualify for the interview will be considered for the final shortlisting.

Syllabus for Personal Interview

There is no specific syllabus for interview. In broad terms, this is really an assessment of not only a candidate’s intellectual qualities but also social traits and interest in current affairs. Some of the qualities to be judged are mental alertness, critical powers of assimilation, clear and logical exposition, the balance of judgement, variety and depth of interest, the ability for social cohesion, LEADERSHIP, and intellectual and moral integrity.
