IBPS RRB Officer exam is conducted every year by IBPS for recruiting eligible candidates to various officer posts in the Regional Rural Banks of India. The various posts covered under the IBPS RRB Officer Scale II exam include Banking Officer Scale, Agricultural Officer Grade II, Law Officer Grade II, Chartered Accountant Grade II, Officer IT Officer II.
A Common Recruitment Process is held by IBPS for recruitment in various RRBs. The selection procedure comprises of a Mains Exam, and the Interview round. However, a single exam will be held for IBPS RRB Officer Scale II this year. The age, educational and other eligibility criteria various from one post to another.
The IBPS RRB Scale II General Banking Officer consists of 40 questions from each of the five subjects. The IBPS RRB Officer Scale II Specialist Officer exam consist of multiple-choice questions from six subjects. The exam is carried out for 200 marks. There is a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer given by the candidate. Each candidate needs to secure the minimum cut-off marks in all the sections on the basis of which the candidate is called for interview.

IBPS RRB Officer Scale II Exam Eligibity Criteria 2021
- Nationality
- Educational Qualification
- There are several educational eligibility criteria laid down by the authorities.
- The educational qualification varies based on the post for which the candidate has applied.
- There are different sets of educational qualifications required for different posts under Scale-II officer exam, but the candidate applying for the job for any of the posts must hold a degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University.
- Age Limit The age of the candidate to appear in the IBPS RRB Officer Scale II Exam should be minimum of 21 years and maximum of 32 years.
The candidate must be:
• A citizen of India
• A subject of Nepal
• A subject of Bhutan
• A refugee for Tibet who moved to India before January 1 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
• Migratory citizens from Pakistan, Burma, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Uganda, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Kenya with intention to permanently settle in India
However, there are age relaxations for candidates belonging to the reserved categories. They are given below in the table:

There is no attempt restriction as long as candidate fulfills the age limit criteria.

IBPS RRB Officer Scale II Exam Pattern 2021
Important points regarding the pattern of the exam:
- There is a single Mains exam that is conducted for the candidates applying for the IBPS RRB Officer Scale-II.
- Each candidate is required to obtain at least the minimum marks in each test of the Online Single Examination will be further shortlisted for consideration of the final job.
- The Exam comprises questions from five subjects namely reasoning, quantitative aptitude and data interpretation, financial awareness, English/Hindi language, and Computer Knowledge.
- The total marks of the exam are 200 and the candidate needs to obtain the minimum required cut off in all the subjects.
- For the Specialist Cadre Exam there are questions form six subjects which are asked from the candidates including reasoning, quantitative aptitude and data interpretation, financial awareness, English/Hindi Language, Computer Knowledge and Professional Knowledge.
