Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India (ECGC) conducts this examination to recruit candidates for the post of probationary officers for various disciplines. This examination is held only once a year. It provides the graduates with an excellent opportunity to get a job in the central government organisation that would provide them with respect and a good salary and other benefits in the society. The eligible candidates will get posts in various disciplines like accounts, legal, company secretary, actuary, IT, economics, commerce, generalist etc.

ECGC PO Exam Eligibity Criteria 2022
- Nationality
- Educational Qualification
- Age Limit The age of the candidate to appear in the ECGC PO examination should be minimum of 20 years and maximum of 30 years.
Nationality / Citizenship: A candidate must be either –
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with intention of permanently settling in India provided that a candidate belong to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
However, there are age relaxations for candidates belonging to the reserved categories. They are given below in the table:

There is no minimum or maximum limit on number of attempts. Candidates just need to meet the upper and lower age limit.

Pattern for Descriptive Paper (Test of English Language)
Total marks allotted: 40Essay writing and precise writing paper comprises 20 marks each. A composite time of 40 minutes is given for the descriptive paper.
