DRDO CEPTAM Exam-MTS is conducted by the Centre for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM) of the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO). DRDO invites online applications from the desirous & eligible candidates to fill up the vacant posts of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), General Central Service Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Ministerial post. The MTS examination is conducted in two stages, Tier-I and Tier-II.

Tier I is just the initial screening process for candidates, and on clearing Tier I students are eligible for Tier-II. In Tier-II, the final selection of students is made. The examination is conducted online, allowing both aspiring male and female candidates to fulfil their dreams.

Training of candidates for the development of these candidates is based on the training policy set by the DRDO. DRDO is responsible for the Research and Development of state-of-the-art battlefield system as required by the Army, Navy and the Air Force.

DRDO CEPTAM-MTS Exam Eligibity Criteria 2021

  1. Nationality
  2. Candidate must be a citizen of India.

  3. Educational Qualification
  4. 10th Class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or Industrial Training Institute (ITI) pass.

  5. Age Limit
  6. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBCNCL/ESM/PWD/WIDOWS/ Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated from their husbands who are not remarried, Central Govt Civilian Employees, Disabled Defence Services Personnel, Persons Domiciled In J&K State during the period from 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989 as per extant Govt. of India rules.

DRDO CEPTAM-MTS Exam Pattern 2021

Important points regarding the pattern of the exam:

  • The examination for recruitment of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) is conducted in two stages, Tier I and Tier II.
  • Tier I is the CBT screening round conducted in online mode.
  • Tier-II examination is the final screening round.
  • Tier I and Tier II are objective types and have multiple-choice questions.
  • Both the stages of the exam do not have any negative marking.
  • Tier I and Tier II are conducted in both Hindi and English.
  • Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in both Tier I and Tier II.
  • Candidates clearing Tier I examination are eligible for Tier II exam; final merit list is done on the basis of performance of the candidate in the Tier II exam.
