Centre for Personnel Talent Management, commonly popular as CEPTAM, is a corporate body and premier centre of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO). CEPTAM conducts exams for recruitment of Technical, Assessment of DRTC Officers & Staff, Administrative & Allied category of non-gazetted personnel, and facilitates training for the development of DRDO as per the requirement.

DRDO CEPTAM-A&A Exam Exam Eligibity Criteria 2021

  1. Nationality
  2. The candidate must be a citizen of India.

  3. Educational Qualification
    • Stenographer Grade-II & Assistant ‘A’ Post: 12th Class pass from a recognised Board or University
    • Security Assistant ‘A’: 12th Class pass Or equivalent from a recognised Board or University or equivalent certificate awarded by Armed Forces in the case of Ex-servicemen.
    • Clerk (Canteen Manager Grade-III): Secondary School Certificate (10th Standard Pass under 10+2 System) recognised by the Central/State Governments.
    • Asstt Halwai-cum Cook: Secondary School Certificate (10th Standard Pass under 10+2 System).
    • Vehicle Operator ‘A’: 10th Standard Pass.
    • Fire Engine Driver ‘A’: Pass in 10th Standard from a recognised Board.
    • Fireman: Secondary School Certificate (10th Standard pass under 10+2 System) recognised by the Central/State Government.

  4. Age Limit
  5. The age of the candidate to appear in the DRDO CEPTAM-A&A Exam examination should be minimum of 18 years and maximum of 27 years.
    *Note

    The candidate must be within the prescribed age limit on the crucial date of eligibility. However, the upper age limit is relaxable for SC, ST, OBC, PWD, ESM, Widows, Divorced Women & Women Judicially separated from their Husbands who are not remarried, Central Govt. Civilian Employees, Disabled Defence Services Personnel, Persons domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir State during the period from 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989 as per the rule prescribed by the Government of India.

  6. Restrictions on Attempts
  7. There is no fixed number of attempts for which an applicant will appear. The candidate may appear for the examination as long as you meet the eligibility requirements.

DRDO CEPTAM-A&A Exam Exam Pattern 2021

The selection process will consist of Tier–I (CBT) and Tier-II (Trade/Skill/Physical Fitness and Capability Test, wherever applicable). There are some points given below regarding the exam:

i) The Score of Tier-I (CBT) may be normalized as per requirement.
ii) The Tier-I (CBT) will consist of objective type multiple choice questions only.
iv) There will be a total time of 120 for the Tier-I (CBT) exam.
v) Tier-I examination is for Provisional selection and Tier-II (Trade/Skill/Physical Fitness and Capability Test, wherever applicable) is qualifying in nature.
vi) The minimum qualifying marks for Tier-I is 40% for UR/OBC/EWS candidates and 35% for SC/ST candidates.

Pattern for Computer Based Test (Provisional Selection)

The Tire-I exam will be conducted in computer-based mode and comprise objective-type multiple-choice questions. Tier-I exam carries questions from General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude & Numerical Ability.
