Baroda Manipal School of Banking PO examination is an exam conducted by the Bank of Baroda to recruit candidates for the post of Probationary officers. After clearing this examination, the candidates have to attend a one-year program in which they will be awarded a post-graduate degree in banking and finance. This degree will be beneficial for an individual as it poses an extra weightage to the resume.
After the one year course, one will get positing as junior officers of grade 1. And in this one year, one has to attend 9 months on-campus programme and three months of the off-campus programme. In the 3 months, off-campus programme one will get several benefits as they will gain experience in the fieldwork.
This BOB Manipal Po examination provides an individual with an excellent opportunity to work in the most popular bank in the country and earn a good salary as well as respect in the society. But to clear this examination one has to give the written test which comprises of total 167 from various sections like quantitative aptitude, reasoning, English language etc.

BOB Manipal PO Exam Eligibity Criteria 2021
- Nationality
- Educational Qualification
- Age Limit The age of the candidate to appear in the BOB Manipal PO Exam should be minimum of 20 years and maximum of 28 years.
A candidate must be either:
i) a Citizen of India or
ii) a subject of Nepal or
iii) a subject of Bhutan or
iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection, the offer of appointment may be given only after the Government of India has issued the necessary eligibility certificate to him/her.
A Degree (Graduation) with a minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government.
However, there are age relaxations for candidates belonging to the reserved categories. They are given below in the table:

BOB Manipal PO Exam Pattern 2021
Candidates shall be selected by BOB through a selection process consisting of an (open) online exam followed by Group Discussion and Interview.
The selection process aims at getting applicants who are likely to succeed at various roles in the Bank. The endeavor is to select people who are bright, have good communication skills (both oral and written), are dedicated, can work effectively in teams, are passionate about their career goals and who display integrity and a positive attitude.
Pattern for Online Exam
There is a composite time of 2 Hours 30 minutes (150 minutes) for the written test.

Syllabus for Group Discussion/Interview
There is no specific syllabus for interview. In broad terms, this is really an assessment of not only a candidate’s intellectual qualities but also social traits and interest in current affairs. Some of the qualities to be judged are mental alertness, critical powers of assimilation, clear and logical exposition, the balance of judgement, variety and depth of interest, the ability for social cohesion, LEADERSHIP, and intellectual and moral integrity.
