Arunachal Pradesh Combined Graduate Level examination is conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board to recruit Gr ‘C’ post in various departments including the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission etc.

Gr ‘C’ post includes Lower Division Clerk, Upper Division Clerk etc. Thousands of candidates appear for this exam every year to secure a government job.

Arunachal Pradesh SSB CGL Exam Eligibity Criteria 2021

  1. Nationality
  2. The candidate must be a citizen of India.

  3. Educational Qualification
    • Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university
    • Minimum 6 months diploma in Computer Application

  4. Age Limit
  5. The age of the candidate to appear in the Arunachal Pradesh SSB CGL examination should be minimum of 18 years and maximum of 32 years.
    However, there are age relaxations for candidates belonging to the reserved categories. They are given below in the table:

  6. Restrictions on Attempts
  7. There is no restriction on the number of attempts provided the upper age limit does not exceed.

Arunachal Pradesh SSB CGL Exam Pattern 2021

  • The exam is conducted in two stages.
  • The first stage consists of objective type multiple choice questions carrying a total of 300 marks.
  • The second stage consists of a skill test of qualifying nature comprising basic computer application.

Syllabus for Stage 1

1 Written Exam

  • General English: Synonyms, antonyms, spelling/detecting misspelled words, idioms and phrases, one word substitution, improvement of sentences, active/passive voice of verbs, conversion into direct/indirect narration, shuffling of sentence parts, shuffling of sentences in a passage, cloze passage and comprehension passage.
  • Elementary Maths: Whole numbers, decimals, fractions and relationships between numbers, percentage, ratio and proportion, square roots, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, partnership business, mixture and allegation, time and distance, time and work, graphs, circle, right circular cylinder, sphere, hemisphere, trigonometric ratio, degree and radian measures, standard identities, heights and distances, histogram, frequency polygon, bar diagram and pie chart.
  • General Knowledge: Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidates General Knowledge, of the environment around him/her and its application to society. The questions will be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matter of everyday observation as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to History, Polity, Constitution, Sports, Art and Culture Geography, Economics, Everyday Science, Scientific Research, National/International Organizations/Institutions etc. State specific questions may also be asked.
